Terms of Service
Last updated: February 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Perifleet platform and website (“Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These terms apply to all users, including fleet operators, administrators, and reseller partners.
2. Service Description
Perifleet provides a software platform for managing fleet camera systems, including live video access, incident clip storage, AI safety scoring, and integration with third-party telematics platforms such as MyGeotab. Perifleet is a software service and does not provide camera hardware.
3. Accounts & Access
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
4. Subscriptions & Billing
Perifleet is offered on a per-vehicle, per-month subscription basis. Pricing is determined by the plan selected (Standard, Plus, or Premium) and the number of active vehicles. Billing occurs monthly in advance. All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated.
We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days' written notice. Continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.
5. Data Ownership
You retain all rights to your fleet data, including incident clips, telematics data, and driver information. Perifleet acts as a data processor on your behalf and will not use your data for purposes other than providing the Service.
Upon termination, you may request export of your data within 30 days. After 30 days, data will be deleted in accordance with your retention plan settings.
6. Incident Clip Storage
Perifleet stores incident clips (triggered camera events) in accordance with your selected plan's retention period. Incident clips are stored using AWS S3 with automatic lifecycle tiering. We do not store continuous video recordings — only triggered incident clips and manually requested footage.
While we maintain 99.999999999% storage durability through geo-redundant infrastructure, Perifleet is not liable for data loss caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or systems
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
- Resell or redistribute the Service without a reseller agreement
- Use the Service to store content unrelated to fleet camera operations
8. Third-Party Integrations
Perifleet integrates with third-party services including MyGeotab, camera vendor APIs, and AWS. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or performance of third-party services. Your use of third-party integrations is subject to their respective terms.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Perifleet shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue, whether incurred directly or indirectly. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.
10. Termination
Either party may terminate the subscription with 30 days' written notice. We may immediately suspend or terminate access for violation of these terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases and stored data will be handled per Section 5.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-platform notification at least 30 days in advance. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
12. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.
